@ilpianista Plz don't use #github. #Microsoft is not a good company to empower. In addition to these issues:
https://github.com/Eloston/ungoogled-chromium/issues/795
MS gave $100k to the Cloakroom to hide meetings between conservative US republican politicians & corporations.
If I find a bug on a github-hosted project, I do not report it b/c of all the red tape in loggin in.

#Invidition replaces all embedded YouTube-Videos and YouTube Links with ones from #Invidious. The only thing you need to decide to which instance the addon should redirect you.

@onepict Strongly agreed. One of the biggest problems the free, open-source, decentralized, federated, private, etc. software communities face is user-friendliness. It's just too hard for a typical person to use 90% of Linux distros or MS Office alternatives or Facebook replacements or what-have-you. Ease of use is unfortunately still an area that proprietary software vendors often lead in, and it is a very important area.

Ubuntu got where it is now partly by explicitly reaching out to non techs and not using the response of RTFM. That's an approch I think we need to take now with #Privacy and #Decentralisation. It's not enough to claim technical superiority or that it's a more ethical position to take. We need to focus more on reaching to folks outside our field. We need to practice active patience and empathy. Soft skills as well as tech skills.
@glitcher32 Can we download it?

@gdroid #com_gsnathan_pdfviewer #fdroid_app_comments This is a very beautiful and user friendly app! It would be perfect if we could have a recently opened file section
@nikolal Thank you!

BBC building Alexa-style virtual assistant, to be called Beeb.
"The BBC already works with other voice assistants, such as Alexa and Google Assistant, but it is increasingly pushing users towards its own products, **so it can collect more data**."
Emphasis mine.
