@osmvegan This is cool. Is this project still going? I still use happy cow but it is not great.
@Wetrix I'm glad to hear all the positive reviews of this release. I am DC fan but the original just didn't live up to what it could have been. I just need to find a spare 4 hours to sit down and watch this release!
@scarletvampire Wow still using CS6 is crazy. Hopefully the cyber defence topic is more up to date! I work in cyber defence but they didn't have any cyber courses when I was at uni =(
@kravietz That is strangely backwards when the rest of the world is closing fossil fuel plants. I'm not a big nuclear fan but we have so many renewables to choose from over going back to gas or coal.
@1010101 Sadness. I have been meaning to go to the Isle of Man TT for years and now I wish I had gone earlier!
@redcoqui I use it sometimes to associate apps with network connections. The problem is that almost every app I use needs network to some degree so really it doesn't grant me any security without spending a lot of time creating filters. As an audit tool to find apps you trust aren't making weird connections it is probably fine.
@fatboy You might be better off using something like Blokada to block on device then choose a DNS provider that is fast and private. https://f-droid.org/packages/org.blokada.fem.fdroid/
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat not even spambots but just bots reposting website feeds flood it. Maybe I'm out of touch but I much prefer going straight to the RSS/Atom for that kind of usage.
@redcoqui To do dynamic analysis in particular you need to run it in on the platform it was designed for. Windows is still #1 for malware!
@syntax You can find any DRM free ebook stores at all? I guess it really depends on the kinds of ebooks you are looking at but most publishers are resistant to DRM free at all - let alone all the other conditions you specified. The only DRM free ebook store I use is https://www.versobooks.com/ - but, that is a very niche demographic of books.
@redcoqui Fennec (or Firefox). Not only because I don't trust brave after some of the stunts they pulled but I think it is worthwhile diversifying away from the one chromium codebase everyone is using. Firefox has been snappy and fast for years now so that isn't really a factor.
@redcoqui Malware analysis. All it is good for π€£
@m_svo You can install Fennec from F-Droid as well for a completely open Firefox build without telemetry.
@redcoqui OpenBoard from F-Droid also. Only been using it for a short while but works well besides the lack of swipe.
