Another obligatory comparision toot from me : Masto doesnt have that feeling that everyone is trying to sell you something, be it their ideology, their politics, their new line of products that you must try because there are a bunch of eye candy "influencers" that are shoved in your timeline just after you have read a post about something horrible that had happened very close to you say so.

I agree that Mastodon is a refreshing change from other social media platforms. Influencers and those trying to be influencers have ruined the others.
