someone found Apple's Neurohash CSAM hash system already embedded in iOS 14.3 and later, and managed to export the MobileNetV3 model and rebuild it in Python

how many months until there's a GAN that creates innocuous images that're detected as CSAM?

@krock It's all about. How far are you willing to go and what are you willing to give up for it. We are aware of what is happening but then there is 99.99% of the world that is unaware or just doesn't care. Also. How secure are you on the other systems and do those projects stay.

@krock Indeed. Many are embroiled in this ecosystem and usually have invested thickly. The question then is where to go. Linux Mint? An Android device equipped with Calyx os possibly or Graphene os? But one has to adapt and one has to set aside a lot of easy things. I was tempted the other day though when I came across a Nokia 105 in the store🙂

@krock Yes, these are more or less propaganda videos, but they still give an insight about who the tech giants are. For more information on the dangers and possible FOSS alternatives, I'd like to refer you to the channels of @techlore and @thehatedone. Very good but the danger of tinfoilhead paranoia 😉 .
