@blacklight447 @Tutanota @freddyym This seems a little strange. Why would they be taking code from Copperhead to paste into Graphene codebase if it originated with Graphene? Wouldnât Daniel already have that code if it was his? I would expect more code going from Graphene into Copperhead if they were just using Danielâs code. Iâm not a lawyer, maybe I misunderstood the letters.
@blacklight447 @Tutanota @freddyym hmm, interesting. Thanks for sharing!
@blacklight447 @Tutanota @freddyym For the sake of transparency, are you part of Graphene? I know Daniel and James have issues, but it seems the hatred is always going from Daniel toward Copperhead, and I donât see much from Copperhead attacking Daniel. How do we know he isnât just a bitter ex-employee? How can we trust what Daniel says is true?
.@Amazon has just announced a one-year moratorium on police use of its dangerous "Rekognition" facial recognition tool.
But Amazon's @RING still partners with 1300 law enforcement agencies to put surveillance tech in the hands of unaccountable police. http://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2020/06/amazon-ring-must-end-its-dangerous-partnerships-police
If you're a protester, consider taking actions like switching your phone to airplane mode or leaving it home altogether.

Even if you can't march in the streets, you still can hold police accountable by following the paper trail. @Muckrock has a great guide on how to start using freedom of information laws to investigate law enforcement. https://www.muckrock.com/news/archives/2020/jun/05/muckrock-guide-foia-police-department/

I want to somehow grind this video into the face of every "but rioting and looting are baaaad" person I see.

Really feeling frustrated with my previous self right now. I'm new to understanding the importance of privacy and have been doing some OSINT on myself.
I'm screwed. Business licenses, chat room records, addresses, phone numbers, emails, etc.
All publicly visible and accessible from even just a simple web search.
I have been so reckless, and it feels incredibly discouraging starting from a non-privacy-conscious place.
How does one recover from the past?
Major yikes.

@jonah
Wow. I hadn't seen or heard about this video. I'm impressed. He still seems surprisingly human - is he new to politics?
