@FreePietje @orionwl @admin Do you mean when you went to my onion site, that site also offered itself as an option? Would be good to see a screenshot. I'll also look into this myself.
Still confused about #terminal colour escape codes? So am I. So it's a good job someone's created another useful #cheatsheet: https://nitter.net/pic/https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FEZns5idWAAIGIlI.jpg%3Fname%3Dorig #ansi #ascii #linux #commandline
If it wasn't clear already that #Zoom cares more about money than its users' #privacy and #security, here you have it:
"Only our paid users will have access to end-to-end #encryption for their meetings."

@freddyym Love the look of it so far. I've read some (very funny) posts on their blog, and also bought a domain name with Monero. That alone has won me over to Njalla. I'll also consider renting a VPS from them.
We would like to help connect #FOSS projects.
If you are an official[^1] FOSS project account with community spirit, or want to suggest one, please @ us :)
The idea is to feature other awesome FOSS projects on our account. /sh

I see it's popular as well. Plenty of walkthrough videos online. I think I'll put some time aside and gather a collection of GNU/Linux distros to try out, as well as ensuring I have (my preferred) Debian in place. I think you can also customise the boot menu.
@marc0janssen
Of course we shouldn't waste local authorities' time, but neither should we rely on others (such as nonprofits and advocacy groups) to do it all for us. The bottom line is we have the right to access this information, so we should understand how such processes work (which have been put in place for us) and take advantage of the laws that hold authorities to account.
We've just started the @moodlenet content sprint after reaching v1.0 beta.
It's so gratifying, after the team's hard work, to see people coming in and immediately knowing what to do, adding high-quality resources!
@nikolal
Actually it works fine on the Yoga. It's just the Ideapad that is notorious for not booting from USB.
@nikolal It works fine on my main laptop (64bit Lenovo Thinkpad), but doesn't boot on either of my other two (64bit Lenovo Ideapad and 64bit Lenovo Yoga). The former isn't surprising. I've never been able to boot from USB because it has a 32bit bootloader. Not sure what's up with the Yoga. Summary: it works fine, but doesn't seem to have support for different boot environments (unless I'm missing something).
🎉 Time to update: Tor Browser 9.5 is out now.
This Tor Browser release is focused on helping you understand and use onion services.
@Karlitschek Amazing the progress that's been made in just a few years!
@nikolal I'm testing it right now. Just about to run the script to install on a free USB.
There is a transformation of onion services to reach out to more services and more people using it! It is starting with the new features in the Tor Browser 9.5 https://blog.torproject.org/new-release-tor-browser-95
Feels good to have just sent my first Freedom of Information Act (#FOIA) request to my home county council (#UK).
I've asked whether #AFR is used; if so, how is the data handled/shared, and which locations/services is it used for. I think making such requests is a practice we should all get into.
Next, I want to ask about the video and audio that's captured on every bus I ride...
I'm welcome to other suggestions, especially regarding #surveillance and #data use.
We found out that local authorities are now using social media monitoring in areas such as council tax payments, children’s services, benefits and monitoring protests.
Is your data fair game?

@nikolal Looks good. I've been after a multiboot solution like this for a while. Have you tested it?
Testing out the new Onion-Location feature in the latest @torproject #Tor Browser alpha release.
