Yeah it's surprising. They should have at least mentioned Jitsi for conferencing.
@gray
Thanks!

Forgot to say I was on mstdn.io before.

Also, that makes sense about the short URL; it's nice and tidy. I just got an invite to this server and feel it's the community for me. I also respect what the people at @privacytools are doing in general.

Hi, thanks for the interest. The company I work for develops bespoke and off-the-shelf courses for public and private sectors, mostly for compliance, H&S etc. For example, we recently released a free course aimed at guiding people during their first experience working from home. I'd be happy to send you some screenshots etc of my course of you're interested.
Of all the great options, #DDG recommends FaceTime, Jami and Teams. Huh? https://spreadprivacy.com/private-tools-remote-work/ #privacy #videocall #videoconferencing
@weirdunix
Why leave Firefox?

Hello all! I never did get round to doing a proper intro on my previous instance when joining Mastodon, so here goes:

Writing and editing is my speciality, but I also have a keen eye for design. I'm currently working on an elearning course called Digital Privacy Essentials, which will soon be free for everyone under CC licence (watch this space).
