I used to think minimal, distraction-free writing in couldn't get better than , but this weekend I discovered the power of and its potential as a 'daily driver' for as well as . Currently putting some thoughts together for an upcoming post on this subject.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I remember opening Emacs once, prodding it a bit out of curiosity and being really lost. I may give it another try one day, but Vim is definitely the editor for me for now.

I will never understand this. Vim is so counter intuitive, but emacs everything is discoverable, just click the menu or M-x.
