I've just about had it trying to run #Debian on a spare/travel #Lenovo #Ideapad 100S. (Currently having issues with battery not being detected.) I'm almost set investing in another second-hand #Thinkpad (my daily driver). Any recommendations for ethical stores shipping Lenovos sans Windows? I'm only after 4GB RAM, ideally lightweight and small.
@syntax your trying to run Linux on a tablet?
@Wetrix
No, the Ideapad 100s is a small laptop, very basic specs (I think 2GB RAM, ~50GB storage). Now I've just invested in a second Thinkpad.
Vikings; Retro Freedom; Technoethical all are quite ethical as you can be certain they work with FLOSS distros. They will come with Libreboot as well so no closed source BIOS. The X200 is quite small and across those stores the RAM ranges from 4-8 GB.
