One of the main things I use and pay @disroot for (other than storing files) is RSS feed reading.
There's been *so* much downtime recently that I want to now use a different service, but I can't even export my OPML file π
Oh, I may have spoken too soon, looks like I got in. Time to spin up my own Nextcloud instance, methinks.

Yeah it's really impressive. I mostly use my instance for personal project management (with the Deck kanban app), but would love to use Talk more, collaborate with others etc.
@syntax I'm thinking that next time I'm in charge of starting an organisation from scratch we'll use that instead of the surveillance capitalist incumbents π
