I can really relate to everything you mention in this post. It's like reading my own story. I had an especially similar moment recently when asked by my work to give feedback about our home working, in which I proposed all home workers start using the company . I don't expect much will come of it but I also trust our IT's decision.

@lps Indeed. It baffles me, but I try to see it objectively too, which is easier when I remember that I was once in the same position: not caring much for privacy and security. It's amazing what's changed in the last two years since I discovered Snowden, related people/topics and this whole amazing community.
