Now that I'm using , using for isn't possible (the Aurora Store workaround works so far as getting the app installed, but then it throws an error when you try to open it).

I *really* want to get numbers in the app to work as a VoIP solution, but I've had no success so far. (The last time I tried, my Twilio account was suspended for some reason.)

Anyone know of any good Twilio/Linphone VoIP setup tutorials?

@syntax I was trying to do the exact same thing a while back: looking for MySudo replacement. Are you specifically looking for Twilio voip? Lots of cheaper, easier platforms out there. I found twilio uniquely challenging to work with. Try a different Voip provider perhaps.

@techygrue
Thanks. Are there other providers could recommend? I couldn't find much for the UK.

@syntax Here are a couple I've personally used, but I don't know specifics around UK numbers. These are NOT endoresements, and I haven't analyzed their privacy policies.

SignalWire: BY far the easiest to get up and running and cleanest interface.

VoIP.ms: The website is old fashioned, and they don't support MMS, but they had good call routing options.

If you want full call and MMS functionality, you have to go with Broadband or a reseller. Pinger app (aka TextFree) MIGHT work with Lineage?

@syntax I use a combo of all of these.

I honestly just wish MySudo would quit relying on Google/Apple services for app functionality. That's the only reason I haven't become a paid subscriber.

Given that one of the first recommendations in the privacy community is to dump large tracking companies like Google, I'm saddened that MySudo relies on these companies to make their app function. Hopefully they change that in the future.

Ignore my last toot. Saw these replies too late. Thanks for your suggestions!
