I wouldn't trust Zoom for end to end encryption given their track record, paying or not.

@syntax I thought that Zoom was a business; thats kinda the idea isn't it? Provide a sample of usefulness, and try and get users to pay for an upgrade... for more features. 🙁

People are too used to free stuff... I blame the likes of FB and Google, monetising data and making it the norm for everything to be "free" for far longer than it should ever be expected.
Society as a whole either doesn't know.... or doesn't care. perhaps that's more likely. 🤔

Sorry for the mini rant, I guess it's been weighing on my mind for a bit.

@syntax i am shocked that a for-profit company that is legally required to care more about shareholder value than ethics cares more about shareholder value than ethics.
