So, what IDE for web dev do you use? I use and like vscode, but I don't want to support microsoft any more than I need to...

@syntax the OG choice. Yeah, need to revisit that!

@yarmo @syntax Could Atom not technically be classed as supporting Microsoft?

Atom > Github > Microsoft?

Note: I don't actually care that deeply, it was just a random thought! 😀

As for full blown IDE, have you ever used any of the JetBrains stuff? Not FOSS though unfortunately.

@gray @syntax I just had the same thought! It's crazy, they own both IDE's now.

I have used JetBrains but it feels massive and just too much. I never liked the feel of it, though I'm sure it's very capable in its thing

@yarmo @syntax It is a bit of a beast.

Another editor I use is Sublime. I generally prefer that over VS Code when I want to do some really quick, lightweight changes and don't need all the plugins.

@gray @yarmo Yeah, Sublime is nice. It was what I used before I discovered Atom. Really used to Atom now and I have no reason to jump ship again. It has every feature I need and more.

@syntax @yarmo I haven't played with Atom in ages. I'm going to have to take another look.
