I hate hiccups!

Here's a weird trick that helps me 99% of the time. People tend to not believe it until they've tried it themselves:

Take a tea-spoon of sugar, poor vinegar over it. Swallow that. It sounds a lot more horrible than it actually tastes (the vinegar and sugar cancel each other out, pretty much), and it works immediately.

I can see you giving me the weird looks, but you try it out and let me know if it worked.
