@silver I have noticed this too, even when shutting it off overnight no longer drains the battery.

@CyberHues Yes what Snowden revealed is one important part of modern society we need to be aware of. I am also more aware of a second side- the rise of commercial surveillance on the modern internet by corporations greedy for our data. Both sides have eroded our privacy. It is time to take back our control of data and interactions on the internet through alternative networks. More to come later.

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat oh very cool! I like Manjaro Phosh very much. I got Dino and Telegram working. I tried PMOS this weekend too and used their new installer image to flash to eMMC. I liked it but there aren't very many apps, hardly anything in the Software app. In didn't get much of a chance to explore. The keyboard was probably the best I have seen yet though.

@linmob @plasmamobile @PINE64 Thanks for testing these. I just recently found your blog. I wish I had more time for testing but I usually am able to only try 3 distros per month.

The Libertarian party already had their virtual convention and elected a woman presidential candidate.

My first image taken with the using Manjaro Phosh. Keep up the great work!

'Bittersweet': Harris VP pick reminds some women the glass ceiling is still intact
nbcnews.com/politics/2020-elec
All this complaining about women not being on the ticket for president and not a single mention of Jo Jorgensen presidential nominee of the Libertarian party. It almost like the media doesn't want you to know there are other choices than D and R.

I now have the latest 2.1.1 version of running at keyoxide.myoort.net/
If you visit that address with Tor Browser you will be given the option of using the onion URL.

#keyoxide 2.0.0 is here and I couldn't be more excited about this one: the entire backend has been rewritten in #nodejs πŸŽ‰ this will make it much easier to develop new features and tools all using a unified backend

#pgp #gpg #identity #encryption

@keyoxide @Matter I have a self hosted fork setup and running. The v1 code I also got running under Tor, so if you go to proofs.myoort.net/ with Tor Browser you will be redirected to the onion site. It required some alteration of the keybase code. I am currently working on moving to the keyoxide v2 code and have this running at proofs2.myoort.net/ but still working on Tor.

Why settle for a woman for VP? Go for broke and vote for a woman for *President*!

Jo Jorgensen on Twitter: "Kamala Harris consistently avoided intervening in cases involving killings by the police no matter which state she was in. Protesters in Oakland distributed fliers saying: β€œTell California Attorney General Kamala Harris to prosecute killer cops! It’s her job!” #VPPick" / Twitter

@freddy Thanks for this. I find this concept fills a need in this age of packaged web services. A server where you get to log on and play. Its a slight variation on a BBS.

@Tommy I do learn some things from you and I would say I am more aware than most about privacy issues. Privacy and security is a toolbox, and some people make other choices that I might not consider or know about.

@Tommy Sorry I missed seeing this poll. In would say keep everything together, post your personal stuff too. That shows that privacy and security are important parts of everyday life, and you can't separate the two. Well just my thoughts.

My Keyoxide Tor setup, including some fixes to get some verifications working correctly in Tor Browser. Great alternative to Keybase.
