@Mayana Same frustration here, I need one that can sync across devices. I have used Feedly for years which works but not FOSS.

@L1Cafe Twitter also sends links through their t dot co URL shortener so they can track users.

@glitcher32 You can post simple pages with Github. WordPress.org? Keybase public drive.

@infosechandbook@mastodon.at Listen to the Cyberwire, Smashing Security, Risky Business, Security Now podcasts. Memorize the entire EFF website 😂

@OneSubtractOne You have West Nile, we have Lyme disease. But at least we have 24 hours grace period to find the ticks and remove them. 🕷️

@L1Cafe What devices are you running this on? I have an i7 with Debian and a few old cell phones and an nVidia Shield tablet. I am running microbiome, Childhood Cancer and Zika.

@L1Cafe Is there too much noise on Twitter? I find the timelines on Twitter very difficult to follow too.

I run my company's website so understand the need for some amount of tracking to prevent abuse and cyber attacks. Use a VPN if you don't want your IP tracked.
And trying to getting others involved in your spat is rather underhanded. Why did join this instance other than to do that? These are your only 2 posts.

@Wetrix @BurungHantu I got notifications with Tusky for anything in my Notifications timeline. I use LineageOS for microG and /e/.

/e/ was recently made available for the Nexus 5X! I am giving this a try on a spare device. I had this on Moto G4 Plus and it worked great.

@jaiden4079 Linux Mint is a great intro to Linux systems. Ubuntu is another option.
To the plugins list I would add Privacy Badger.

Buy and trade digital cryptocurrency
Rent a private virtual server and play around or host your own services
Get AWS instances and run BOINC projects or crypto mining programs on them
Buy dance moves in games (I don't get that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Buy music and movies
Rent time on a giant telescope to view your favorite piece of space

Does anyone know what's up with Eleet messenger? The name of the app in the Apple and Google play stores changed to CorpChat and there is now a website corpchat.com. But the Eleet.im website is still active and no mention of the app name change. Their twitter account hasn't been used since October. Something doesn't seem right here.

My brain is mush after spending all day doing this week's homework on IPs, subnetting, net masks, binary-decimal conversions, prefixes, magic numbers, classifications and VLSMs! IPv6 just take over already, you are so much easier!

@infosechandbook@mastodon.at If you enjoyed that page check out the full features comparison matrix where you can filter results and see which apps meet your needs. It is best viewed on a large monitor.

@one @blacklight447 Maybe screenshot detection would be another good data point to track. Some just prevent it, some alert the other participants if a screenshot is taken but allow it.

@blacklight447 If that is your threat vector then yes ephemeral messages won't help, that is not what they are designed to protect.
