@switchingsocial It is not really privacy-respecting.It has centralized shit like Signal and Telegram preinstalled which can't even be removed and it has MicroG what connects to Google servers and is required only by very few apps so it shouldn't be installed by default.

@nipos @switchingsocial@mastodon.at The roadmap for /e/ has the ability to remove the standard apps, this is still a product in development. I have found that /e/ continues to provide updates for the phone models it officially supports even after the LineageOS maintainers for some models have stopped providing updates.

@supernova @switchingsocial As soon as that's really possible,I'll give it a change but at the current state,it's not really a open alternative with all its proprietary stuff.
