@OneSubtractOne Some productivity philosophies say that things only go on the calendar if the task/project will utterly fail (“die”) if not done on that day at that time.

If you need an oil change for your car, whether it’s July 16 or July 22 is probably immaterial. You probably just need to get it done as soon as it’s compatible with your time, attention, and budget.

But! If the calendar works for you that’s ya jam so keep on!

@muraii @OneSubtractOne Yeah I tend to have things like this that don't need to be on a specific day. Bills have some leeway in when they must be paid, sometimes they arrive late in the mail! Or I set a to do for checking my smoke alarms, which I might not get to for a few weeks but I lie to remember it needs doing. If I put it on my calendar it will pass by and get lost.
