Whoa, Twitter doesn't let me tweet direct links to a Matrix chat room!

I tried 3 times on the phone and it failed silently, and the web client gave me this message at the bottom of the image.

Someone's campaining against FOSS social network alternatives.

@doenietzomoeilijk @sneak chromium doesn't have extentions on android, only fennec (and fenix with "drm" (mozilla acount)) has them

@sneak AFAIK not, unless you add it in bromites source yourselff. But I guess you could add it to their issue tracker, if it isn't there already

@sneak there was/is a extention for firefox called AMP to HTTP or something like that. It was available for Fennec but isn't for Fenix (maybe with that debug extention list thingy, haven't tried that yet)

I sang the rick roll song

Also edited the video a bit
Nice lil pastime project please enjoy lol

@sneak yeah, Androids location permisson system is kinda shit.

The issue is less the fact that it asks for permission when gps is turned off, but that you have to give an app location permissions that it can scan your wifi (i.e. nmap) / read your ssid.

I get why the did it, with the rise of databases with wifi macs and their repective locations but it feels hacked onto the existing permissions system.

if you have advanced protection on, google will mangle all your emails, even via imap, to rewrite all URLs to the google redirector, breaking email signatures, breaking PGP crypto signatures, et c.

if you want to back up your mail in its original form, you have to do it via data takeout/export.

also google: if you want to export your email unmodified, it takes months(!) because you have advanced protection on.

In my projects: this, prototype, new, __proto__ and constructor were all forbidden, except if needed for interfacing with library code.
These days I don't do js much anymore, Rust+Tokio has everything I need.
