That seems cool, how are they doing this? Is apple forcing developers to use one library for http requests, that thoose apps can preload themselves into?
Or do they open a DNS Server and show you every request? (DoT would be an issue tho)

Security was never something I cared much about. For me its more free software and privacy - so I think its secure enough just to install firewalld and be done with it. (Probably isnt) 😀
@sneak I'm wondering, why exactly you are using OSX instead of a privacy respecting OS then?
The only thing I'd do with an arm mac would be to attempt to break the "security" so that I can install a linux based os on it.

i wonder if apple could be persuaded to giving out enough info for a linux gpu driver to be made for m1 and subsequent chips.
of course, that's assuming there's some way to get the thing to boot linux in the first place...

oh, at least activity monitor shows the architecture of the running processes. interesting that apple lists the architectures as "Intel" or "Apple".
intel didn't invent the x86_64 ISA (also known as amd64), and apple didn't invent the ARM ISA.
when and how did the term "architecture" come to mean "processor manufacturer"?

@meldrian viele bei uns nutzen OneNote als Notizbuch. In den meisten fällen würde es eine Ordnerhirachie mit Dokumenten auch tun.
Ungefähr das macht NoteKit (https://github.com/blackhole89/notekit) und ich nutze weil es im gegensatz zu den alternativen (Joplin, Obsidian) nicht auf Electron basiert und Stift support hat.
Allerdings ist es noch in Alpha und es fehlen dinge. (Bei mir insbesondere Bilder und Tabellen)

Weil ich habe hier eine App, dir wir von der Schule aus nutzen "müssen"*. Und im Exodus Scan sind da fünf Google Tracker drinne.
*rein therotisch nicht müssen, ist aber ziemlich blöd ohne.
