Google removed @k9mail from the Play Store without prior notice because they objected to the following text in the app description (that has been the same for more than a year):

(People sometimes call K-9: K9, K9 Mail, K-9 Email, K9 Email, K9 E-Mail, k9mail or k9email.)

@TheDoctor

I'd recommended to take a look at the supported devices from GrapheneOS grapheneos.org/faq#device-supp
or CalyxOS calyxos.org/get

GrapheneOS has no google stuff atall, while Calyx has microG which is an free implementation of google services; if you want to use apps that require them.

Both OS's have fairly well written install guides.

Schools could set up #opensource solutions like #jitsi, #Moodle, #BigBlueButton, #NextCloud with support of tech savvy pupils and parents, local companies instead of just throwing money at big commercial offerings. Needs cooperation and strong leadership, though.

@vaartis they moved the upstream location to the gnome git gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libhand here it isn't archived.

And yes phosh is using it. (Along with a lot of other applications, including ones made my gnome.

I think the first app i saw libhandy was gnome-clocks and I think their implementation is very good.

@vaartis i like gtk, but I cant tell you if its better in that regard, because I'm unable to understand your issue.
