Any #opensuse :opensuse: users? Could you please give me some insight on what could it offer to a #arch :arch: / #manjaro :manjaro: user?

@mgiagante Oh, okay, hold my beer! 😀

1️⃣ Tumbleweed is a solid rolling release with always the latest software. It is a snapshot of the factory development, but well tested by #OpenBuildService and #openQA. If you want a rolling release, then Tumbleweed.

@mgiagante
2️⃣ #Leap on the other hand shares the same code base as SUSE Linux Enterprise Server together with modern desktops (current GNOME, KDE, XFCE etc.) Suitable for all people who want the stability of a server system.

@mgiagante
3️⃣ #BtrFS is a very reliable filesystem and correctly used by #openSUSE as a snapshot system: if there are problems with an update #Snapper rollback can easily restore your OS to its last working state as if it never happened.

& snapper also work in arch, but :opensuse: is very nice with YaST. If I'd figure out how to package stuff in their OpenBuildService (the docs suck) I'd think about switching.
