I was born in a confined pod with my brothers and sisters.

When we were old enough to ferment, I was ripped from my home and shipped a long way where I was pulverised and smashed along with my family.

I lost consciousness for ages and when I awoke, I was fluffier than before. I had a tough crust and a soft inside.

Then I was put into an oven.

Now I am a slice of toast!
