I had my hard drives mounted in Rpi and now I am not sure to what extent this may have been spread.

I was going to replace my router because of high packet loss and now I found out that some bad guy script was lurking inside my raspberry pi killing the whole network.

Change Raspian passwords as soon as you install them! I had kept it open for like a day and now I found a script and some keys installed inside! The script was killing my whole network with zmap!

There are all kinds of funny typos all around Xiaomi router web config panel.

I have 40% packet loss to modem. Any advice?

It happened suddenly. I have a modem and a router. Router pings are fine. Connecting to modem directly is fine.

I cannot trust protonmail any more. At some point I had signed up for their VPN service and used my main email for verification. Now I wanted to sign up for an email and it says the email is associated with another account. I thought they do not save emails and use them only for verification.

Seems not possible.

I want to add another email to Gitlab to reset my passwords with. But receive all email notifications (like pipelines fails) on another account.

Security is really opposite of ease of use. How can I easily check my email but not having it logged in on my phone? If someone have access to my phone he can resets passwords everywhere.

I am reviewing all security settings everywhere.

A friend is arrested. I am really concerned about safety and security of my family now.

Trying to config my raspberry pi home server using docker and docker-compose this time. Yesterday its SD card was suddenly broken when I was creating a backup of my home assistant db.

Is it ok to use systemd service to run docker-compose up? Seems like cheating to systemd. I wish I could manage docker containers directly with systemd services.

It seems docker has covered many use cases of configuration automation software like chef and ansible.

I checked out a co-working space this morning. I might go there once or twice a week just to get out of home some time. But I'm not sure if it worth the time and money.

Any suggestion to break the loop of life and add some fun?

I'm really sleepy but part of my brain refuses to sleep because tomorrow I'm off. Sleeping soon when you are off tomorrow is cheating.
