I think I've found an interesting way to punish corporations that outsource their email to #Google or #Microsoft. US corporations usually hire a registered agent to receive court docs, & it's just one dominant company (CT Corporation) in most cases. CT Corporation apparently does not forward correspondence to their clients electronically. Instead, they send it by UPS or FedEx letter.

#ITAsoftware users: where do you buy tickets for air travel now that some company bought hipmunk.com & killed it? AFAIK, #Hipmunk was the only way to buy tickets using #ITA codes. It's hard to sort through all the garbage travel sites that block Tor or push CAPTCHAs.

the consulate website says “You must book your tests before you travel and leave enough time for them to be delivered to your address in England.” So strictly speaking it's prohibited to spend less than 24 hrs in the UK, which is short of making sense (if you leave before the results are in, you're no longer a risk)

Anyone know if it's possible to do a day trip in #London when coming from an “amber” country? What I've read seems to imply that a post-arrival #covid19 test is mandatory & it's also mandatory to provide a UK address to receive results. Of course if you arrive in the morning & leave in the evening, there is no address to send the results to. You're gone before results arrive.

Robots have a bad rap, unjustly so - due to popular misconceptions, and this has enabled #Cloudflare to grow and oppress /humans/.

If you deploy a website/publication that's fed by a bot, plz consider putting a statement on your page saying something like “the useful data on this page was made possible by a beneficial bot that Cloudflare claims is 'malicious'”. Rationale: #Cloudflare deems all bots other than search engine crawlers as “malicious” & it would help to show the ppl the extent of the perversion.

just like #TorProject censors people in IRC who criticize #TorBrowser in #tor, there are also ops in #tor-offtopic who censor those who disclose the fact that Tor Project is silently removing information that's critical of #Cloudflare from their website.
