@rwillmer @onepict there are some web services based on that will compute best walking route between two points. OSMAND is a app that will do that. But I've seen nothing in the free s/w world that will take more than 2 points and optimize the sequence.

@onepict @rwillmer postcodes are relatively vast. I don't imagine anyone other than a postal worker walking a course that traverses more than 2 postcodes. And a postal worker wouldn't just be hitting the center of a postcode, but rather every single mailbox therein, so I see no practical use for such a tool. But a tool that computes the shortest journey given a list of coordinates would be useful.

@xj9
Gitea is the s/w, is the service, if I understand correctly. You can run your own gitea (or gitlab for that matter) if you want to self-host.

Indeed the 's is a attack on users. It forces some browsers to execute non-free j/s, while other browsers are denied the option to solve the .

And for both Tor & non-Tor users, CF sees all traffic, even the SSL encrypted traffic incl. usernames & unhashed passwords, so abuses everyone's

@eff also, the senate.gov links block users. When composing an article should really make sure the article is readable by users. Use Tor-respecting links plz.

@eff
bit of irony: instead of giving details of Cantwell's bill, your article links to Washington Post, who then forces visitors to consent to abuse before being allowed to see the article:

@fireglow thanks but I'm aware of that. searxes.eu.org is the only instance that filters out websites

the only -respecting in the world (searxes.eu.org) is currently down. Hope this is temporary! It's a sad state of affairs that users are dependant on this one search engine.

@angristan @mayuutann i'll be writing 5x50 = 250 on anything I publish from here on out, just to rock the boat.

@onepict @noodinet Sorry, i'll never sign a change.org - it's a -abusing site. Use openpetition.org for petitions important enough for everyone to access. /cc @bagder

@aearil
This problem has been solved by . Debian quality standards mandate man pages for every app. So run debian and only use official debian repos & you're guaranteed to have a man page.

@eff
i was furious when blocked my access to legal statutes. Thanks for pointing out that legal code in may be actionable.
