@jalcine Great intentions but absolutely despicable that they jailed that project in #Microsoft #Github, thus feeding an enemy of their own mission and subjecting users to MS surveillance and control. Those boycotting ICE-feeding corps are fundamentally blocked from contributing to that project.
An account I cannot follow from social.privacytools.io:
https://playvicious.social/@jalcine
The "proceed to follow" button takes no action when clicked. playvicious.social is not accepting registrations either, so following locally is not an option either. WTF.
someone made an open list of companies that supported + are using ICE https://t.co/MJzncqMqZN?amp=1
@strypey I've seen posts in GNU social timelines, clicked the author, and instead of a mastodon or gnu social profile it's a diaspora or friendica page. And for whatever reason, I can't follow them. Crossposting doesn't even seem to be required.. it seems to be automaticly integrated.
@kensanata Businesses are absolutely reckless with sharing your phone number. A voicemail-only number ensures that your p2p phone number doesn't leak all over the place and force you to even have to look at inbound calls.
@kensanata Actually voicemail is indispensible when you must give a phone number to banks, insurance companies, some merchants, and government offices. Do you really want them to be able to interrupt you on demand? Give them a # that's strictly voicemail and never rings.
@Tutanota This is a more direct link to using #Facebook in a less harmful manner: https://stallman.org/facebook-presence.html
@Tutanota If you must use (and be used by) #Facebook, while trying to advocate #netneutrality at the same time, at least make the links 1 direction. In FB the links should lead out of FB, but links should never lead into FB from the outside.
@Tutanota It's cool that you support #netneutrality & that you use Mastodon, but not so cool that there are #Facebook references on your website b/c FB is an abuser of net neutrality. Plz consider removing the FB links from your website. RMS has good advice on this: https://stallman.org/facebook.html.
@rms You've linked to an article that requires #nonfreesoftware to read. How did you read that article?
@hund@linuxrocks.online Is this job at a public school?
Doesn't the GDPR protect you? FB requires a GSM phone, no? So who's to say you even have one? Perhaps the boss should give you one so you can register an account with it.
BTW, I highly recommend reading RMS's advice for situations similar to yours: https://stallman.org/facebook.html
@rms I cannot view the page you link (actionnetwork.org) because it is jailed in #CloudFlare with an "Access Denied" error.
Plz don't post links like this - it wastes ppl's time, compromizes #privacy and #netneutrality, and gives CF more power.
@bagder I would expect it to work for you, as you would have otherwise seen the problem as fast as you create the page. Perhaps try rendering the page using Ungoogled Chromium over #Tor to reproduce the issue.
BTW, I would think you would want ppl to be able to access the videos using cURL considering that's your baby.
@bagder correction: invidio.us link works (it just needs google j/s).
@d3vnull #Youtube is broken anyway. Use invidio.us instead.

@angristan there's a problem with that video: https://social.privacytools.io/@resist1984/102831664598643334
@bagder Please try posting it directly on invidio.us (if possible) & use the liberated Matroska (MKV) format. And please remove it from youtube to stop giving those assholes power.
