@resist1984 This is what I was talking about :(
@ilyess I think that's legally actionable @Br0m3x. In the #EU they can't refuse you healthcare nor can they force you into the marketplace (to buy a phone+svc, etc). The only case where an EU country can force you into the marketplace is to open a bank acct. They've not only violated your legal right to healthcare but also the #GDPR (the data minimization article).
@resist1984
Of course but majority do comply with this.
This is a huge problem. People are conformists.
@ilyess
@Br0m3x @ilyess In this case, it's conformity that you're after. The health professionals should conform to the law. You can (and should) file a #GDPR complaint with the DPA saying that the health professionals are violating the data minimization article of the GDPR. It shouldn't cost you anything to file.
@resist1984
#covidpassport is a huge GDPR violation and nobody cares. Keyword #Covid19. It's better than 9... 11 and people agree with everything, 'comply and don't ask'. At the site they just follow Health Ministry orders. I read this decree. They just build and upgrade another data base to track people. They don't care if I'm sick or not. PhD MD can publicly claim 'I will not save life unvaccinated person' and she is not stygmatised and her medical license is still valid. Ridiculous.
@ilyess
@ilyess @Br0m3x The #covidpassport itself is not likely a #GDPR violation because it's an opt-in program. You've not said what specifically would be a GPDR breach w/the covid passport, so I'm not clear on what you're saying. Does the application for the covid passport demand information that is not essential to the passport's existence? Does the passport also require a mobile ph#?
@Br0m3x @ilyess Is the covid test you mentioned (which required a mobile phone number) a requirement to get the covid passport? Can't the health system just look up in their records whether you were vaccinated & give a covid passport based on those records alone?
