European Space Agency started to develop a #RISCV (+Vector extension) based processor called NOEL-V for very-low power and data intensive computation in their satellites. General GPU can't be used due to their complexity reducing efficiency, and low resistance to ionic waves in space, that made them give wrong results.
The main developer, Cobham Gaisler, also made a previous generation in 1990 called LEON, based on SPARC-8 architecture.
NOEL is an anagram of LEON, don't know if it is a reference to Noël (Christmas and a given name in French).

@popolon @altlink @alcinnz #archiveDotIs (aka #ArchiveToday) is in itself an exclusive walled-garden jailed in #Cloudflare. In principle they have an #onion site, but http://archivecaslytosk.onion/psMa6 also shows a #CAPTCHA to Tor users. So it's still a dead-end.
@resist1984 @altlink @alcinnz https://archive.is doesn't use cloudflare at all and It works without external JS (I use NoScript extension), you have the optional mail.ru external js, but I didn't accepted it and it works.
@resist1984 @alcinnz @altlink I also often seen archive I made on both archive.org and archive.is disappearing on archive.org, I continue to use it some time in parallel, but archive.is is a stronger archiver. As an example, this twit of Elon Musk that has been deleted from twitter, and archive.org, that is still on archive.is (I saved it around the moment of the publication of this twit, it was then available on both).

@alcinnz @altlink @resist1984 I double checked to be rure archive.is (188.143.233.210) is hosted in Prague (CZ), the first capital managed by Pirate Party ;). It's not affiliated to cloud flare at all.
@resist1984 @altlink @alcinnz Sorry I but tried using both my regular internet provider, using TOR, and other network (where it goes to an address in russia), and none goes to a cloudflare address. Which IP address do you obtain, when you visit it? That's perhaps a problem with you internet provider?
