Considering the legal protections disabled & impaired people have in most of the developed world, why doesn't there seem to be any legal actions pushing back on CAPTCHAs? Even gov. sanctioned public services are imposing with reckless disregard.

Exactly. During a heavy lockdown I had to complete google captcha to get outside. That's crazy.

@omicron if i were disabled in a way that CAPTCHAs were extra difficult, I would have a lawyer on retainer just to litigate a series of lawsuits. And I bet it would be easy to crowd-fund the lawyer's fees.

@omicron imposes recaptcha on ppl, which then hinders disabled ppl from using twitter to tweet to their gov. representatives. So in the US a good lawyer could probably make a 5th amendment / ADA case and go after politicians directly.
