About ~70-90% of what I do in a day is a sidetrack of what I intended to do.

Yup. That 70% sidetracking is where you live your life. The rest is just to stop you getting fired.

And remaining 30-10% percent has nothing to do with what you intended to do I am guessing.

@murtezayesil the remaining 10-30 goes toward a project that never finishes because it's out-paced by the scope creep manifesting from the sidetracks, which then branch into more sidetracks
@murtezayesil A boss once told me: you've created a dragon and that dragon has started having litters of baby dragons. (guess I'll leave that off my CV)
consider farming dragons as a career ;-D
