i thought it was only Trump who got the virus, then despite being vaccinated naturally later got an artificial vaccine anyway. Others are doing that too. I can't quite get my head around why overcoming the real thing is less effective than the shot (which if I understand correctly tries to emulate the coronavirus by modifying a common cold virus)
@resist1984 No, some of these statements are incorrect. You do not necessarily become naturally immune after infection (and if you do, it may only last a few months). The dosage and boosters of the vaccine are designed to provide protection longer and reduce severity, though we may still need annual vaccines with new variants. Finally, the shot is not a modified version of the common cold virus. It replicates a protein on the surface of the coronavirus that triggers an immune response.
