@unsuspicious @deletescape Well it doesn't have to be "work 40+ hrs/wk or nothing". Just work a little. That's what I do. A full time gig pays triple what someone needs to be comfortable. So I'll work 1 year full time, then cut back to part time for a year, then take a year or two off; and repeat. Don't spend money like an American on shit you don't need.

@deletescape @unsuspicious BTW, most employers had no problem with me switching to part time. But I did have one employer who refused, and demanded full-time or nothing. Over-selling my time was missing the point of living, so I quit.

@resist1984 @unsuspicious i had a 24h/wk job and i still didn't function. i just don't function in the whole framework of like jobs and stuff
