i mean, what else can we do? You can't a government, so you have to boycott a region. And in doing so, less revenue in the region means less tax revenue in the region.

@resist1984 How much do you suppose those companies pay in taxes to the region? (I don’t have the answer, but I would suspect they are highly incentivized to keep their operations there.)

@resist1984 reminds me of when people and companies boycotted North Carolina over the bathroom bill a few years ago. So much revenue lost over the passage of such a discriminatory piece of legislation against trans people.

When NC passed some asinine act or another a few years back, the NBA and a whole mess of companies pulled out. That did have positive results. Oh yeah, the "bathroom bill".
