@anmol the docs page times out for me, so I didn't realize it supported a mix of languages. that definitely sounds interesting though. I think in principle it would be most useful if it supported GitHub Flavored Markdown, which has this spec: https://github.github.com/gfm/ in addition to your other extensions.
@anmol That would really help portability to Zap, so someone could use gitea to draft an article then publish it on zap.

In #Fediverse, no other platform gives option to use #HTML, #BBcode and #Markdown at the same time. You will have to use combination of these to have a nicer looking result.
The problem is what looks good on one platform may not look the same on other.
Anyways you may check #Wordpress as it is a #CMS and will have lot of #plugins to support Markdown. Even #Hubzilla has #Articles and #Wiki in it, but they don't federate. You will have to paste links on your Fediverse accounts.
