#OpenSource puts you in control. Change your habits, reclaim your privacy! π
@Tutanota
DDG isn't opensource but there is alternatives like searx
@strikersan @Tutanota #DDG is also a terrible recommendation: http://techrights.org/2020/07/02/ddg-privacy-abuser-in-disguise/
@Tutanota @strikersan #Signal is a poor recommendation as well: https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/privacytools.io/issues/779
@flav @strikersan @Tutanota #Google PS should be avoided anyway. I suppose your comment is more about motivation. I myself wouldn't use #Signal or WhatsApp. I tell ppl how to reach me on Wire or Jami or Briar. If they're unwilling then they are unwilling to stay in touch as far as I'm concerned. It's a bad idea for the burden of change to be on the more ethical/secure party.
