Some nationally syndicated #NPR show was talking about sustainable housing built to enhanced standards to withstand fires out in CA. Anyone know which show? I thought it was one of the Marketplaces, but I don't see anything that looks likely from feeds yesterday...

@cryptoxic i think i heard it on tech marketplace. There wasn't much to it iirc.. just using steel, concrete, & glass.. probably no wood frames

Thank you! I was hoping it was more than just a paragraph story. Wanted to hear aboyt sustainable hoysing materials.

I seem to recall corrugated metal roofing was another fire resistant thing, not sure if the story mentioned it. :blobshrug:
