Is there any open source or free software that can, given a set of postcodes, work out the optimal walking route between them?

@onepict @rwillmer postcodes are relatively vast. I don't imagine anyone other than a postal worker walking a course that traverses more than 2 postcodes. And a postal worker wouldn't just be hitting the center of a postcode, but rather every single mailbox therein, so I see no practical use for such a tool. But a tool that computes the shortest journey given a list of coordinates would be useful.

@rwillmer @onepict there are some web services based on that will compute best walking route between two points. OSMAND is a app that will do that. But I've seen nothing in the free s/w world that will take more than 2 points and optimize the sequence.
