Is there actually a reason to switch from LastPass to BitWarden?
@Wetrix These are password managers. And after using one, I can't live without one because I've registered like 150+ websites, each with a unique password generated by the manager itself. ๐
Can you imagine going backwards? Dreadful. So since I found out about Privacy Tools, I saw it recommended BitWarden over LastPass here:
https://privacytools.io/software/passwords/
And I wondered like, could any differenc warrant the switch from what I'm using versus what is recommended.
However... Lol
LastPass is trending...
@Wetrix... for a bad reason. Not horrible but still bad enough. To where I'm definitely switching.

@InternetRooky @redcoqui I'm going to re read some of these tomorrow because I'm so tired I'm having a hard time reading them

@redcoqui oh OK! I will look into these! I use Umm secure safe? It's a password store to.
I still use my own passwords because if I ever lost it, I'd never have a hope of remembering those generated ones ๐
@Wetrix Do you have a different password for each and every website though? Are you remembering all that? Lol. That would be insane. I would just lease a section of your brain for my own password bank then. ๐
@redcoqui yeah I have an so that I write down all my passwords because I'd be SOL without it ๐คฃ
@redcoqui Password Managers are for convivence not for security right?
It always seemed to me that it's not necessarily more secure since you still have one master password for the manager. Which is kind of a tradeoff because I understand the generated passwords themselves will be more secure.
@redcoqui i donโt use them (i prefer local encrypted apps / files) but i hear bitwarden allows secure sharing of passwords which is a draw for some for their spouse / S.O. Etc.
@redcoqui never heard of these what are they?
