I'm trying to add i18n support to the site so we can get some translations up! But it means I need pretty much every English string to be copied to a separate file to be translated. Info @ https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/privacytools.io/issues/1106

Instance upgraded to Mastodon v2.9.0!
**New Default Layout**: Single-column mode (instead of Tweetdeck style), can be reverted in user preferences.
Some other cool stuff too, check out the full change log for more information: https://github.com/tootsuite/mastodon/releases/tag/v2.9.0
Hey everyone! Just a friendly reminder that this instance is privately-operated and does have a code of conduct. It's a simple one but it does exist! https://social.privacytools.io/about/more
I highly recommend people check it out and use common sense and there won't be an issue. We are highly responsive to user reports made as well, and if you don't think we're handling something quick enough you can always ping me. Definitely want to discourage instance blocks to avoid fediverse fragmentation 😄
Simplifies following or interacting with other users on remote Mastodon instances in the Fediverse. It skips the "Enter your Mastodon handle" popup and takes you to your own "home" instance, without entering your Mastodon handle on remote instances.
#Firefox starts blocking third-party cookies by default

Hey everyone! I think I fixed an issue affecting notifications on mobile clients, sorry it took so long..... If they still don't work for you, please sign out and sign back in, and if they still don't after that let me know.
This may(?) have also broken web notifications for you. If you're not getting notifications in your browser anymore please refresh or log out and log back in and that should fix everything 😄
