This Whatsapp change of terms is making some of my friends replacing it with Telegram or Signal, either way for lesser evil imo. We have yet to see how this move pays out for Whatsapp and Facebook but I hope more agressive marketing and creepy accurate ads will make people wonder why are they so accurate and search for less invasive alternatives.

If you are having problems running wireguard on your raspberry pi check repo you installed it from, if its unstable repo switch to buster backports and reinstall from there. Wireguard from unstable repo has problems with raspberry kernel headers.

It deletes a filled password field on linux. In your browser, on the bootscreen when entering your LUKS password, your login password field, in the sudo prompt, …
It's great when you have a long password and you know you hit a typo somewhere.
Try it it's awesome. And it's the worst thing, that it doesn't work on other platforms.
I didn't even realize their Mastodon account was gone until this update. (To be fair, I've been away for a while.) This is truly unfortunate.

There's a new "experimental feature" being tested in Firefox 83: sponsored sites in the URL bar.
"Mozilla works with advertising partners to place sponsored tiles on the Firefox home page (or New Tab) that would be useful to Firefox users. Mozilla is paid when users click on sponsored tiles."
You can disable this by setting `browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showSponsoredTopSites` to `false`.
