I just made a 1000€ #donation to #Framasoft.

They offer #FreeSoftware solutions without #SurveillanceCapitalism for just about everything.

Since the #SocialDistancing started I made two videocalls with their #Jitsi instance and that saved me from feeling completely isolated. Unfortunately free telecommunication services are completely overloaded atm, but that's why it's so important to #DonateToFreeSoftware projects, especially right now.

Thanks @Framasoft ❤️

I've just found out that middle click on tab space opens new tab in Firefox. I've been clicking that + button for a long time

I'm under attack, my brother and sister came to hometown due to corona virus and brought their pcs and took all ethernet ports. Now my raspberry will collect dust for month or two, no more PiHole :(

Keybase SSH, useful if you are sysadmin in charge of managing users pubkeys on server, you don't need to add or remove new/old keys with this because it uses one single pubkey which signes other pubkeys, signed pubkeys are allowed to connect. It behaves like CA in some sense, more here:

Changing wifi or switching to mobile data breaks Wireguard DNS resolver, which is DNS on my raspberry pi. Restarting wireguard connection on my phone fixes problem but I have no idea why its happening, Mullvad Wireguard works without problem. Anyone having similar issue?

More updates for Ubuntu Touch testing on . I am looking for working apps now. codeberg.org/Supernova/bravehe

dnscrypt-proxy (if you dont want anonymized DNS you can use servers with DoH support, like NextDNS): github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-p
WireguardVPN: wireguard.com/
Anonymized DNS (explanation, how to is in dnscrypt-proxy link): github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-p
PiHole adblocker: pi-hole.net/

All of this software is FOSS, and free as in freedom.

I don't think many people know about this but you can anonymize your DNS requests if you own some linux server with shell access. Steps to take:
1) Install Wireguard on your server
2) Install dnscrypt-proxy
3) Configure dnscrypt-proxy to use anonymized DNS in .toml file
4) Profit

You can also install PiHole for adblocking and configure it to use dnscrypt-proxy. You can connect then with Wireguard and have VPN+anon DNS+ adblocker.

Links in next toot.
