Good site for downloading anime with bittorrent? I'm looking for Digimon Digital Monsters (1999-2003) to be exact

Installed Ubuntu on my younger brother's laptop and showed him some basics on how to use terminal. One more point for FOSS one less for Windows.

If there is no such thing as bad publicity then Trump tweet about Bitcoin and other cryptocurencies is a good thing.

Great idea for use of blockchain is publicly signed and verified diplomas from university, where ministry of education and faculty would sign your diploma ID and post it on blockchain. Large QR code for verification would look really awesome on office wall.

Spiderman: Far From Home, privacy mentions

There were a couple of privacy related scenes in the movie, first is when Peter Parker gets those glases that Tony Stark gave him and starts scanning people in bus who were with him. Everyones information was revealed except for Dimitry which was shown "encrypted". Also at the end of the movie scene with Happy in the airplane where he told Peter that his password was "password" and Peter commented how bad it was. People awareness about privacy - 1/2

What Really IRCs Me: Mastodon
By @kyle
Learn how to use the Mastodon social network platform from the comfort of your regular #IRC client. linuxjournal.com/content/what-

A while ago I wrote an absolute beginners' guide about how to run a web service like #mastodon or #pleroma on a small Linux system.

DO use authenticator apps as second step to protect all of your vital accounts. DON'T rely on SMS. DON'T ignore unexpected loss of network coverage.

FOSS should be available to everyone, if it isn't it isn't FOSS, by definition. People who insult admins, app devs and users which dont want to block gab instances do me a favor and block me, we don't have to see each other posts in the timeline. Better fediverse for both of us.

by the way instances which participate in transparency (right now Pleroma instances only) can use fediverse.network to find out what instances are believed to block yours.

we are working on extending transparency to the various Mastodon forks through NodeInfo. if you want to see transparency in Mastodon, get Gargron to add NodeInfo support today, as we're trying to have a mostly standardized reporting format.
