Not everyone realizes the media oligopoly also works in team with a rarely seen companion: the mobile operators. Everything in Google and FB platforms encourages bulky downloads. This is one of the features I love most in F-Droid: being able to quickly transfer all of your apps to another devices without using even a byte of mobile data. honestly i think a lot of the very dumb takes on mastodon come from the fact that it's been advertised to people as "nazi-free twitter" for so long, which is both a reductive view of what the fediverse is and not even necessarily true. the appeal of it is that you can carve out your own space on the internet.
there is nothing uniquely nazi-free about the fediverse, there's really nothing you can do in code to stop fascism. it's just a much better model than corporate social media.

I had problems installing latest Neomutt (cli e-mail client) in Ubuntu since some dependancies were not satisfied after downloading package. Work around is to add Debian buster apt source to your sources list then update and install only neomutt package (not other 1.7k packages, lol) after that remove added source from your source list and update apt packages again, and everything should work fine, with all dependencies installed.

For example, all Captchas will claim to be wrong on Edge, Internet Explorer and Firefox.
On Firefox you can't even click download buttons.
You absolutely need Chrome for the site to be fully functional. Which is especially disgusting considering how simple the site is. Why the actual fuck can you do a Captcha in all browsers, but only verify them correctly if you use one specific browser.
And how the fuck do you break a download button. There is no reason why that can't just be a regular link.

Anyone knows how much anthenas that emit signals for 5G network radiate? And are those radiations dangerous for people near it? I have a friend, she is electrical engineer and will do some measurements in few weeks (she works 30m from anthena), just wondering if anyone has some info about it.
