It does, but currently I'm stuck when rebooting into modified mkinitcpio and grub, graphic card still loads as nvidia instead of vfio. I'll dig more around anyway

There are apps that come with some domains already blocked but as it seems Google doesn't make any difference between them or Google isn't aware of such apps. Anyway I don't think that app devs which block those domains are ultimate voice of reason/ethics and Google has got that part right if it decides to ban fedi apps, it should ban them all.
