Set pubkey authentication and whitelist for specific ip adresses? This will just spam your logs

Algorithm can be ok, but users of instance should be notified that there is some filtering in their instance when registering for that instance. Transparency is always good, users should choose and have power over their content, thats all I'm trying to say

Still I think that user shouldn't be lazy and do it by him/herself, its so easy to be done. There is also case of some bots spamming 5/6 toots once a day in second and users want to see those toots but algorithm denies them of that content, how do you make algorithm that fits everyone needs? I think mastodon is cool because I can see everything and moderate things myself, even if I am not instance admin.

After a lot of thinking, I've decided to keep my Google account. The truth is, I get a kick out of knowing that real people view my Docs / Drive files whenever they want. Who wouldn't want this?
I also enjoy being tracked by nonfree JavaScript, as employed by companies such as Google. As nonfree JavaScript is non-extendable or auditable by third parties, I consider it better than open-source.
I will also be switching to Chrome browser, and I will upload my passwords to Google shortly. I will also upload the phone number of myself and my contacts to Google's servers, as I believe the recent lawsuits Google have been a subject of are FAKE NEWS.
In light of this, I will stop using @Qwant and opt into tracking by using Google search. The truth is I just like being tracked. Who am I to judge? I have nothing to hide, so I don't care.
I also encourage website owners to employ proprietary mechanisms such as Google's reCAPTCHA. As this technology trains Google's AI, I think it will help Google make money from my hard work. I'll give my work to Google for free, and believe that they are giving reCAPTCHA away for free to help random people.
Also, I will be flashing the stock ROM back onto my device. Then, I can let Google store my IMEI and other personally identifiable information about my character. If they want to build an online profile of me, then I encourage them to do so.
You should also enable Location History, so Google can track which locations you visit. Install Google Fit, so Google can understand how you move about in your day-to-day life.

Back online, SD card is still alive. Problem was in nameserver in resolv.conf, reconfigured PiHole and everything is ok
@hyde
You can install dnscrypt-proxy and set pihole to use it as dns resolver, then in dnscrypt proxy you can specify what upstream resolver you want. Just set dnscrypt-proxy to listen on other port than 53. You have guide here:
https://github.com/pi-hole/pi-hole/wiki/DNSCrypt-2.0
There is also automatic update script for dnscrypt-proxy here:
https://github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-proxy/wiki/Updates
@hyde
NextDNS for DoH with dnscrypt-proxy, or you can have anonymized dnscrypt with some reliable providers
@kravietz
True, but those are pools that we are talking about. This is case of miner that has some percentage of hash rate in that pool, still seems like you need long period of time for this strategy of crypto washing to work, for you to be that specific miner that got block reward. Unless you have some serious hash rate, then I guess you don't have to wait too long. Maybe I understood something wrong about how individuals in pools share block rewards?
@rumblestiltskin
@rumblestiltskin
This is major flaw if cryptocurrency such as eth want to achieve mass adoption. Regulators won't like that. So basically person puts transaction with condition not to broadcast it until he mines it himself? How much time does one need to wait on average? My guess is pretty long even with good hash power
@kravietz
@rumblestiltskin
How can you be sure as miner to mine next block?
@kravietz
@kravietz
I've heard that this might be crypto washing, but I don't get the concept behid it
@jonah Mastodon doesn't load images, not web client nor fedilab? Only I have this issues?
