@ScottMortimer
This is great, but Pihole isn't just for being home. You can setup Wireguard VPN and in its config set to use your Pihole as DNS and even set up NextDNS as upstream provider. You can use full or split tunnel if you are being afraid of all your traffic coming through one IP. Its good post anyway, NextDNS is looking promising

@darylsun This would seem good for privacytools.io team to take over if they have knowledge/time/will. This would be such waste if shut down.

I have issues with videos stuttering on all websites, oh well, reverting to pacman version

Sounds like a great idea to get rid of - rather than nag people to solve silly riddles on each page separately, have a cryptographic and privacy-preserving protocol specifically for proving you're human. From user's perspective this works pretty seamlessly, under the hood there's some interesting crypto and proof-of-work protocol.

Switched to flatpak version of Firefox, I almost see no differences but thats ok

I've started watching "Mr. Robot" series for the first time with my girlfriend, we watch it in our separate houses due to global pandemic and we talk via Signal while we are watching. There is some good romantic in that, and series are good so far. Seems like good way to be in touch with your SO in this situation.

My router messes up static IP of raspberry pi that was previously configured fine with pihole, dnscrypt-proxy and wireguard. After replugging ethernet there is no way for me to restore connectivity even when dhcp assigns IP correctly, and everything was working fine before. What a mess, I lost too much time, I'll just reflash raspbian and wait for my brother or sister to move so I can have one constant ethernet cable.

I like grub lock because noone can delete your system or boot anything from flash drive, imo its not overkill for security, but it is overkill in how many times you want to type in your password just to get to desktop

@ataraxia937
I think that equally important is locking grub with password so no one can boot or mess with partitions unless he knows login credentials
