I've never said that Tor is paranoid, I said that if you don't trust code provided by devs you can run it yourself and see if it behaves as expected. Tor is good technology and I'm against that Tor users should be blocked on Github. Github earns money from private repos, not public ones. Privacy enthusiasts have and track code on public repos, so I and other privacy enthusiasts didn't give a dime to Github.

DMs can be read by instance admins, there is no difference between DMs of Mastodon instances. Good privacy practice is not to use Mastodon DMs for communication

I see that some of your interests are in privacy, if you mean digital privacy I can send you invitation link to instance where my account is, it doesn't censor any accounts/instances afaik but you can do that yourself easily. If you are interested find way to contact me, DMs on Mastodon are not so private

That username is blocked on mastodon.social and you can't see his/her posts, I didn't knew that when I was suggesting you that account. You can choose different instance or create some alt account and follow @matrix and see for yourself if you find his/her memes offensive
