@darylsun Maybe wake up call to not trust everything to google? I mean getting youtube account banned is one thing, but whole google account is just too much.

This is independent on mutt, sending with gmail smtp leaves copy to sent folder by default, while disroot doesn't. I don't really need that copy to sent folder, just wondering why it isn't enabled by default, it makes sense to me that is enabled.

Yes, when I login to gmail account I can see that mail is sent, on disroot I can't

Sending mail using smtp with python script on disroot account doesn't leave copy to sent mail, but using gmail with same script does. Bug or feature?

@hyde_stevenson
Great stuff, I used it couple of times and worked great. You can also selfhost it

@Limax
I use different password for every website and 2fa when available, but I have more than 60 logins and to use different e-mail for each one is a little bit too much. Idea of different e-mail for each site is to minimize damage when someone gets your login credentials and 2fa when recovering passwords. With disabled alias for login this problem is solved, because hacker doesn't know your e-mail for login into your inbox.

Idea for e-mail providers to have as option: you can't login with e-mail aliases to your inbox. So, if you sign up to all websites with your alias account and somehow you expose your alias e-mail address and password you are still safe, because hacker doesn't know primary e-mail for inbox login

Nice shoutout to @Tutanota by Steve Gibson in latest Security Now podcast

Cool feature would be to save dark mode preference per e-mail account without cookie so I can get automatically switched to darkmode when I login.

@jle
Yeah, I use PyCharm for python, I'm looking for something that will work for my brother, he recently switched to linux. Thanks for suggestion
